Art is my life; my passion and an important part of my life. In fact, as far back as I can remember, I loved creating and I am also blessed with an imagination that knows no bounds. Over the years I tried almost all types of mediums (Ceramics, Silk Painting, Doll making, etc.) and became proficient in most of them; and winning some awards along the way. I have shown my work in solo and group shows; both in Colorado and California. At present I have personally sent my creations to 58 U.S. cities and 13 cities in foreign countries. My consignment work and pieces from galleries have gone to who knows where all over the world.
As of 2023, I have been accepted into five International Watercolor exhibits and won awards in two of those. Currently, two are pending because the jury process has not been completed yet.
My art education began in public school in Europe and Colorado and in 1970, I graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art. In the following years I enhanced my abilities by attending workshops by such artists as Elaine Harvey, Linda Doll, Barbara Nechis, Pat Deadman, Doug Walton and David Lobenberg; just to name a few.
Miscellaneous art related work experience includes over thirty years as an illustrator for 96 National and International Art Rubber Stamp companies; four years as an Art Director and eleven years as a graphic artist. Selling illustrations to Children’s Magazines, and one article to a craft magazine, has also made me a published illustrator and author.
I also spent several years creating costume jewelry and craft items, of all sorts, which I sold at craft shows. I am happy to say that some form of my artistic creations can be found in private collections all over the world.
Currently, I am working hard at creating unique Watercolors, which I hope you will enjoy viewing.
