On a trip to Morro Bay I saw these boats. One of them was named "On the Horizon", so I decided to name the painting the same. This painting is done in a fun style that I developed myself. I begin with floating pools of color on the Illustration Board. After the paint has dried, I remove the paint from specific areas, leaving an image that shows loose exciting color trapped in controlled images.
