The dimensions of this box are 16 inches high, 11 inches wide, and 6 1/2 inches deep.

Since the discovery of King Tut's tomb, the lure of the Nile and the treasures that lie beneath the Egyptian sands have created fantasies in people's minds.
This is my fantasy. If I were Egyptian royalty, this is a box I would covet. It took several months to complete and of course this is the only one I will ever make.
Osiris and Horus guard the doors. The eye of Horus watches the entrance and a scarab allows good fortune to flow into the box from the top, while Selket protects it on both sides. The inside was just too plain, so even though I professed that the box was completed, I decided to hand-tool brass panels in the door sections and in the shelves.
I am finally finished with this box and it was definitely a labor of love.
